Solutions and Industries Driving Innovation and Transformation on Google Cloud

Google Cloud Next 2024 is set to take place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas from April 9th to 11th, 2024, offering insights into the latest trends and advancements in Cloud Technology, including Security, GreenOps, Data Analytics, and (Gen) AI.

Xebia is proud to be a sponsor of Google Cloud Next 2024, showcasing its commitment to Google. With its recent expansion in the Americas, Xebia has opened a new headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, aiming to quintuple its revenue in the region and create over 1,000 jobs.

At Google Cloud Next, Google will unveil its latest innovations. This article explores global and vertical trends and provides examples of organizations capitalizing on these trends.

GenAI

Undeniably, GenAI has been one of the largest tech developments in recent years. In one of his latest notes, Google CEO Sundar Pichal unveiled its latest advancements around GenAI, particularly Google's Gemini 1.0 Ultra. Nearly 50% of business activities can now be automated using GenAI, driving value across sectors. Xebia has released multiple solutions, including a GenAI platform and off-the-shelf applications. For instance, in this webinar, Xebia presented a solution for ING to automate the ingestion of news articles and generate insights for informed decision-making. Additionally, Xebia has supported Levi’s in leveraging Google’s Data and AI technology for better Sales and Marketing analysis.

“By tapping into the US market, we mapped Google Cloud opportunities on our project portfolio, built relationships with the local Google team, and consulted clients on-site. These experiences reinforce our conviction that Xebia’s experiences empower organizations to get the most out of Google Cloud”.

Laurens Baardman,
Director of Technology Cloud & Data Portfolio, North America at Xebia,

Sustainability

Sustainability, including concepts like GreenOps, is a growing trend in digital transformation and cloud computing. Xebia collaborates with Dexter to develop AI models for the renewable energy market on Google Cloud.

By embracing sustainability practices, organizations can effectively reduce their carbon footprint, aligning their operations with environmental goals. Xebia’s focus on digital innovation, industry transformation, and commitment to diversity and ESG initiatives aligns seamlessly with its vision for growth in the US market.

Healthcare and Life Sciences Solutions

At HIMSS24, Google Cloud announced new solutions for healthcare and life sciences organizations. As shared in Google’s press release, healthcare administrative costs were up by 30% in 2022, to reach $60 billion annually (CAQH), physician burnout increased to 53% in 2022 (Medscape), and there is a shortage of more than 13 million nurses in the world (World Health Organization, 2020). Xebia collaborated with various life sciences and healthcare organizations, for example by incorporating Google's PaLM 2 / Gemini technology and Generative AI solutions. On top of this, Xebia actively dedicates time and efforts to contribute to innovation, for example by participating in Solve with Google activities, such as the Princess Máxima Center, aiming to contribute to pediatric cancer research by unlocking the power of gen AI.

Through its sponsorship of Google Cloud Next, organizing local events, such as GCP meetups in Atlanta and Austin, and increasing its local presence, Xebia Cloud continues to expand in the US.
